The Autonomous Agent Risk

AI agents that can read emails, browse the web, write code, and execute shell commands are the hottest trend in AI. They're also the biggest unaddressed security risk.

Every tool invocation is evaluated against a policy before execution. File system access is restricted to specified directories. Shell commands are validated against an allowlist of permitted operations. Network requests are checked against authorized endpoints. The sandbox doesn't prevent legitimate work — it prevents the agent from being weaponized.

Tool-Use Monitoring

Agents that are being manipulated often exhibit unusual tool-use patterns — repeated attempts to access restricted resources, tool calls that don't match the stated task, or sequences that look like reconnaissance.
